For over two decades, Sunrise Building Company has been building and renovating homes and cottages in Bancroft and the surrounding areas. From Barry’s Bay in the north to as far south as Peterborough, Madoc to the east and as west as Haliburton, we have completed a large variety of projects over the years, producing quality buildings and products, and forging lasting relationships.

Experienced craftsmanship and top-notch materials are the backbone of any quality finish, and we work with the best of both to do work that both we and our clients can be proud of for years to come. We work closely with our customers and project partners from concept to completion to bring dreams to life while primarily keeping most tasks in-house, regulating our high standards for attention to detail every step of the way.

My Story

I grew up in Highland Grove, 8 minutes from Baptiste Lake. From a young age, I have always been creative, crafting and building with any materials I was able to get my hands on. After finishing highschool in Bancroft and completing a Civil Engineering diploma at Georgian College in Barrie, I returned to Bancroft to start a family and begin my career as a carpenter building homes and completing renovations.

After building my experience working for a local company, I decided to start Sunrise Building Company in 2002. With nearly 30 years of experience in the industry, I have had the pleasure and opportunity to work on countless interesting and innovative projects. I love being a part of the design process; of being able to bring a combined vision to fruition, and knowing that my clients will be able to live in, and enjoy, something I’ve made for years down the road.
